On Monday, we began our special Preschool Planters storytime session called Let's Grow Garden Stories. We learned about seeds. Seeds are important, because plants grow from seeds. We plant the seeds in Spring and harvest during the sessions of Summer and Fall.
May 1st is one of my favorite days. It's Mother Goose Day! We set up a special book display under the green bulletin board for you! We have Mother Goose books and Mother Goose Rock Cds for your to enjoy. The purpose of Mother Goose Day is to re-appreciate the old nursery rhymes. There is even a motto for this special day, "Either alone or in sharing, read childhood nursery favorites and feel the warmth of Mother Goose's embrace." What a great day! A new month means another visit to my friends at After School Matters! I brought new books with me on my visit. The most popular books were the monster books. You can find monster books and more when visit the library. I can't wait to see you!
