Snow is falling, snow is falling ... all around, on the ground! It's time to celebrate the color white because we have so much snow around us this winter. We enjoyed songs about snow and books about snow, clouds, and food. We even had a special visitor from the arctic - a polar bear!
February 12th is known as Abraham Lincoln's birthday. To celebrate the day, we talked about TALL at story time. Abraham Lincoln (our 16th President) was known to be a tall man.
This week we started our eight-week story time session. Miss Liz shares stories on Monday at 10am and 6:30pm. Miss Pippi will be sharing stories on Tuesday at 10am. Today in story time we celebrated pancakes! We learned the ASL sign for pancakes and waffles. We danced to a song about shapes between reading pancake books.
