Baby story time is a unique story time that features nursery rhymes, bounces, action rhymes, songs, and board books. Each session is designed for little ones between the ages of one month to 24 months. (Older siblings are welcome to come along, too!) During the month of June, we share a book on bugs and a book with a fish in a pond.
Preschool Planters: Let's Grow Garden Stories returns this month at the library! This year we're talking about Spring weather. Our first week of Preschool Planters focused on sunny days. We read books about sun and rain, sunrise, waking up the sun, and sunflowers.
Earth Day is a day to celebrate our world! We celebrate its beauty and uniquness. We also look at ways to help save our world. We can reduce, reuse, and recycle. We can watch the water we use and the amount of time we take to drive in our cars.
April is National Poetry Month! This Friday Book Finds features Spine Poetry by Miss Pippi and Miss Liz. We went through our poetry section in Non-Fiction (811's) and created new poems from the spines of those books. You can create your own spine poetry with books you have at home. Read the titles and create a new story with your books.
