Well friends, we had another rousing and I think, successful session of our Book Boogie story time on Monday morning!  Despite the snow falling outside, we had a full room of library friends who definitely remembered their dancing shoes!

Welcome to a new year library friends!  On Monday we started our special 3-week Book Boogie story time series focusing on rhythm and movement!  We sang and danced to all kinds of songs - we rocked the alphabet, did the peppermint twist, and even did the Wiggy Wiggles Freeze dance!!  To take a little breather after all that dancing, we read some fun rhyming winter books: Jingle Jingle by  Nicola Smith and Frozen Noses by Jan Carr.  If you missed this week, no worries!!  We'll be book boogy-ing for the next two weeks - January 17 and January 24 at 10am!  What a great way to start off the new

Hey library friends!  With the Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Hannukah books back in their homes, we have a new display up to celebrate New Years - Great Books of 2010!  Just in case you missed any of these fun titles, we've pulled them out just for you!  There's picture books, easy readers, non-fiction, fiction, and even some graphic novels all published in 2010 so come take a look and see if there's any you missed!  We love having you come visit us in Children's Room!
