Did you know it's way more fun to play bingo with your favorite books and characters?? We did! That's why we hosted our annual Book Bingo night as a part of our winter reading program last night! Players tried to fill up their bingo cards with Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Fancy Nancy, Frog and Toad, and even Fly Guy! They also brought home lots of fun prizes!
Hey there library friends! It's a new year and we introduced you to our new graphic novel section a few weeks ago, but the fun isn't over! This past week we added another new section of books to the children's room - illustrated fiction! We're so excited to have this section of books to share with you - but you might be wondering to yourself, "what in the world is illustrated fiction?" That's a great question!

This four week free community winter reading program begins Monday, January 10th and runs until Saturday, February 5th. Children age three to fifth grade are encouraged to read, checkout books, attend programs and write. If 10 or more books are checked out, any program participant can enter our grand prize drawing. Stop in and pick up a reading log anytime this week! ...
It's 2011 and we're so excited! We're kicking off the year with our Winter Reading Program! The Children's Room theme is Splish-Splash READ. Little ones from 3 years to 5th grade can read to win during the months of January and February. If they earn two or more stickers, they can pick up a free paperback book in February!
