April 30th is Dia Day, a yearly celebration of books, kids, and reading.
We celebrated Dia Day or Children's Day/Book Day with La Cuentista Lista, Kay Weeden. We spent our morning listening, telling stories, and even dancing. Thanks to all the BDM and Trinity classes that came to visit for this special bilingual event - we had a great time!
We took a trip to the 100 Acre Wood with Pooh and his friends!
Silly old bear! We wrapped up our spring break spree in the Children's Room this week with a Winnie the Pooh day for our preschoolers. After a Pooh Bear themed story time, we went on a honey pot hunt, played some matching and counting games, and practiced our coloring skills.
Spring is here! We celebrated the first blooms of the new season at a special Friday Fling event last week. We read books about Spring plants, Spring blossoms, a butterfly and a bunny. After stories and songs in the Story Room, we made fingerprint flowers and played various games around the room. What a fun morning!
