Yesterday we celebrated week number 2 of our summer reading program with a concert from Randy Peterson!  We travelled the world over with songs from Australia, Egypt, and even an African band (which included some help from the audience)!   We had around 200 library friends clapping and dancing along to Randy's music in the Compay E room - what a fun afternoon!  If you missed the concert yesterday, we have several of Randy Peterson's CDs available to check out right here in the Children's Room!  Check out the library's Flickr page

Hands 2 Grow Puppet Productions returned to share information about the Fox Cities Passport to Nature program on Thursday night. It was a great evening with music, stories and laughter! Everyone got to learn about adventuring into the great outdoors. It's fun to see animals, but it's also important to know about the animals you see. The library has great books and videos of animals in the wild. You'll find animal books in Non-Fiction between 590-599.
