Author Adventure Kits

At the suggestion of PTO parents and teachers, in 2008, the Children's Dept staff developed 24 kits called Author Adventures focusing on children's book authors and illustrators...and they are ready for you to check out! Each kit contains 8-10 titles by the author, biographical info, websites and, in some kits, activities to go with some of the titles. Selected kits also include video biographies, stories on video and audio cassette stories.

Book Club Express Kits are Here!

We have completed the project grant from unrestricted funds within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Inc. in the amount of $4,600.00. The project, Book Club Express, is now up and running. All Menasha School District teachers for grades three through six will be able to check out the reading packs on their teacher card and have a classroom book club for their students. There are 26 Book Club Express packs with 25 copies of a paperback book.
